A little About our Church
We realize that many people are not comfortable with the whole church scene. North Ridge was started with a goal of not "doing church" but investing in people. We want to help you succeed at this journey called "life." We have found that the secret to a successful life is to help people experience God in a personal and tangible way. We invite you to come and connect with God in a casual environment that is refreshingly different.
Current Sermon Series
Ever feel like you are growing stale in your belief in God? Kind of like your faith is all mental, but there's nothing moving about what you believe? Well, the Christian life is not supposed to be that way- the Psalmists sure weren't. Throughout the Book of Psalms- you know, that big book, right in the middle of the Bible- we find prayers to God that are full of emotions, full of passion. Prayers praising God, rejoicing in God, questioning God, depending on God, repenting to God, weeping before God, discouraged in God, and on and on. God is an emotional being and, since we are created in His image, we are supposed to be emotional people. Thus, it is only right that we experience emotions in our faith. Our faith is not emotional, nor is it controlled and determined by emotions, but, like the Psalmists, emotions should accompany our faith. If you want to feel your faith, rather than just know you have it, join us at NRCC this summer for our newest series: I'm Feeling It: Rediscovering Passion in the Psalms.

From September 2008-2009 North Ridge Community Church has adopted LifeSavers Ministries as our local ministry to support. LifeSavers Ministry goes into the roughest, toughest neighborhoods in Lee County to minister to the children in those neighborhoods. For over twelve years LifeSavers has met the physical and educational needs of hundreds of children through back to school supplies, to Thanksgiving meals, to Christmas presents, to after-school tutoring, in addition to meeting their spiritual needs through Saturday Sunday School and weekly home visits. To find out more about this ministry and how you can get involved, visit their website at www.lifesaversministries.org.
